Discovering Mint Room Studios: A Dream Backdrop with a Helpful Pro-Tip

When planning a session for your family, the setting plays a crucial role in the final aesthetic. Mint Room Studios is one of Toronto’s most renowned natural light studios, and it is a location I frequently recommend for its timeless and editorial feel.

One Name, Two Stunning Locations

Mint Room operates two distinct spaces in the Junction neighborhood:

  • Mint Room Studios (Main): Located at 300 Campbell Ave, this 7,000 sq. ft. space houses iconic rooms like the elegant Ballroom and the bright Conservatory.

  • Preto Loft: Located at 213 Sterling Rd, offering a raw, industrial-chic aesthetic with soaring windows and incredible natural light.

Versatile Spaces for Every Occasion

From the cozy, home-like feel of the Nest (perfect for lifestyle newborn sessions) to the sophisticated architecture of the Library, there is a room to match every vision. They are also famous for their Christmas Mini Sessions, where each room is transformed into a winter wonderland starting every October.

A Professional Tip: Planning for Parking

While the interiors are breathtaking, there is one practical detail my clients should keep in mind: parking in the area can be quite challenging.

Since the studios are located in a busy part of the Junction, you will primarily rely on street parking, which can be limited during peak hours. To ensure a stress-free experience, I highly recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to find a parking spot. Giving yourself this extra time ensures you walk into your session feeling relaxed and ready to create beautiful memories!

Whether we shoot at my home studio or one of these beautiful rental locations, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
