Our general recommendation is to have your session at 28–32 weeks pregnant to ensure a nice round bump but not lose your flexibility.  It is recommended to make your reservation 1-2 months in advance to ensure availability around this photography window. A small deposit reserves and guarantees your preferred date and time. 

We dive into the consultation and session planning, going over your taste and preferences. Plenty of dresses for mom-to-be from S size to XL size are available for you. But you are welcome to bring your own outfits if you prefer. Please make sure you prepare two pairs of beautiful bras and underwear in your skin color tone and black (special designs for maternity and breastfeeding periods are not recommended at all ). If you decide to invite dad-to-be and your children to join the shoot, you may need to prepare several outfits for them too. Usually, I would recommend outfits with a solid natural color tone, like white, grey and black. Make sure you have both a bright and dark tone. Other props like baby’s ultrasound photos, baby’s shoes are very good items for maternity shoots too.

Hair styling and makeup plays a big role to get the best outcome of final images. We would recommend you to book a makeup service for your session. We also have a makeup artist in house if you don’t have any clue to find one. You can add the service for an additional fee.

The work doesn’t stop for me once you leave the studio.  After the session, I will carefully go over all the photos, do basic editing and choose the very best to include in your online gallery.

It takes approximately 2 weeks to receive the link to your personalized online gallery, at which time you will be able to select your favorite images.

After you select the photos you would like to touch up, it takes approximately 3 weeks for me to finish the final images. I take very special care during post-processing to create beautiful final images for your family to enjoy for years to come.

Once you receive the final gallery you can download them, or select your favorite images for wall art or unique specialty products, such as fine art prints or photo books.  Specialty products can take 6 weeks for delivery. High-resolution digital images will be provided as a digital download according to the terms of your package.
